Top Picks from Amazon: 8 Recent Must-Haves

Sharing a few recent purchases from Amazon that I’ve used and loved!

One / Two / Three / Four / Five / Six / Seven / Eight

I always love seeing what other people have bought and loved, so thought I would share a few of my favorite recent Amazon finds – I feel like they’re all (pretty!) practical and things that I would rebuy or recommend. Enjoy!

  1. Packing cubes
It feels like I’ve been traveling non-stop this summer and these packing cubes have been a game changer not just for packing, but also staying organized once I’m at my destination. They’re like mini drawers in your suitcase. Tip: I always pack an extra empty cube to throw my dirty clothes in to keep them separate from clean!
  2. Portable charger
This charger is a game-changer for pool days, traveling, concerts – even being lazy at your own house where there isn’t a nearby outlet (for me, my deck). It came in so handy right away in July at Taylor Swift, a day-long bike ride called RAGBRAI, and a girls’ trip to Omaha where we had several pool days. It has all of the different charging cables/types built in so you don’t have to lug around cords, and it plugs in directly to the wall to recharge.
  3. Makeup remover towels
I have long been a fan of the Makeup Eraser makeup towels and have ordered a few different versions from Amazon. These might be better than the real thing. I love the smaller individual size – I use one a day and discard used towelettes into a basket under my sink, then throw them in the laundry at the end of the week/whenever I’m out. They can work with just water, but I usually still use face cleanser (Tula is my go-to), then scrub with the towelette + warm water to really get everything off. They work so well.
  4. Gorgie Energy Drinks
This is my latest productivity hack. I literally hoard these energy drinks for days when I need to GSD. I love coffee – but these give me a much bigger energy boost over coffee! Better for you ingredients than regular energy drinks. 5 cals. Watermelon is the best flavor – serve chilled!
  5. Purple shampoo
I’ve been using the Olaplex purple shampoo and it was fine–but I wasn’t seeing enough of a difference to love it. A girlfriend who is a hair expert recommended this Redken purple shampoo and I was skeptical, but completely sold after using it. I love my hair color again and am so happy! You can’t put a price on that, right?!
  6. Olive oil mister
Technically I bought this for someone else (I’ve already had mine for years), but it’s the best tool in the kitchen to replace cooking sprays and use less olive oil when cooking. Great for spraying a pan before cooking, spritzing bread before toasting, or spraying veggies before roasting or grilling. Also an MVP if you have an air fryer.
  7. Candle warmer lamp
Especially nice for making your more expensive candles last longer (it melts the wax vs. burning it away), this candle lamp has a gorgeous glow when it’s on, has a 2, 4, or 8-hour auto-off timer, plus a dimmer switch. It’s the perfect entryway staple–a nice accent light + home scent. Would make a great gift paired with a candle!
  8. Waterproof sticker label paper (not pictured!)
This is a random one – but I’ve been making a lot of custom champagne bottles lately, and this sticker paper has been a game-changer for me! It works with a regular printer and by some miracle, it’s waterproof–ink doesn’t run at all and the label stays put when it gets wet! I’ve also been using it to make custom labels for around the house (as seen in organizing my beauty products). Would be great for making custom stickers!

How to dry hydrangeas for the fall! The best DIY f How to dry hydrangeas for the fall! The best DIY fall decor ✨The key here is picking your hydrangea stems just as they’re starting to turn color, rinsing them in soapy water to get rid of bugs, then using the evaporation method to dry flowers so the water evaporates and doesn’t mold the stems - but the stems dry happy and keep the flowers the color you picked them at. Optional - spray with hairspray to keep them from shedding. These dried hydrangeas will last you all year! Go pick your stems before it’s too late…!

SO happy with how this DIY IKEA Pax closet turned SO happy with how this DIY IKEA Pax closet turned out (my second time building one!) - my only regret is not doing it sooner. All that’s left is doing one other corner + trim, but I’m impatient so you can find me moving clothes in and organizing for the foreseeable future 👗👚🧥SIDENOTE: The new Pax 2.0 are 100x easier to put together than the original - but look the same and are compatible with earlier Pax. I’m a big fan! #ikea #ikeapax #diycloset #paxwardrobes #ikeahack
